Some Celtic fans think Ange has transformed 26-year-old

What a home debut for Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic this afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou’s side picked up a first Premiership win of the season by hammering Dundee 6-0 at Paradise.

And it was the Japanese gem who scored a hat-trick on his first-ever appearance in Glasgow.

It goes without saying that a lot of Celtic fans are praising the 26-year-old, but many more are lauding it over Ryan Christie’s performance.

Although Kyogo got a hat-trick, Christie bagged a treble of assists – including one inch-perfect pass to slice open the opposition defence.

Here’s what some Hoops fans are saying on Twitter:

Massive

Christie has reminded Celtic’s hierarchy that he can be an absolutely massive player and it’s so important that he remains in Glasgow.

The good news is that the Bhoys, as of today, have opened talks to sign him to a new contract.

The bad news is that there are no guarantees that he’s going to sign it.

This performance was the latest in a series of dazzling displays under the Australian coach this season.

And although it’s still early, there is substantial evidence to suggest that Postecoglou knows how to utilise the Scot, whose existing deal expires in January.
