Step-mum turns bridezilla as she demands teen to cut hair to avoid ‘upstaging her’

A bride has been blasted online for her list of bizarre demands.

The 28-year-old woman wants her 15-year-old step-daughter to carry out a series of tasks ahead of the wedding.

She’s tying the knot to her 42-year-old who is re-marrying just two years after the death of her mum.

Posting on Reddit, the teen explained that she looks like her late mum which is why the bride wants her to cut her hair.

When the girl refused, her step-mum called her a “selfish brat” and revealed her dad was supporting his future wife’s demands.

She said: “My dad and my his fiancee are getting married in November this year.

“I didn’t really like Alice because I think she replaced my mum too soon.”

She added: “My mum died of cancer two years ago and she and dad started dating eight months after.

“I try to be as polite as I can whenever she’s around or starts a conversation with me.

“Dad never forced me to have a relationship with her and I can also see that she’s not interested in having one.

“After they got engaged, Alice approached me and said we needed to talk.

“She said she has a clear vision of how she wants her wedding to be and that I have to comply so that everything will be perfect.”

The teen revealed how the bride wanted her to cut her hair short, to avoid wearing heels and to opt for light make-up on the day.

She comprised with her step-mum, and told her she won’t wear heels or make-up, but can’t cut her hair short.

The girl explained she got her long blonde wavy hair from her mum and wanted to keep it in honour of her.

She continued: “Alice accused me of wanting to upstage her. I said that’s not what I’m trying to do.

“Then she called me a selfish brat and told me she’ll tell my dad about how I ‘disrespected her’.

“My dad then got involved and told me to just cut my hair because it will grow back anyway.

“I said her request is ridiculous and I’d rather not attend their wedding than to cut my hair.”
