The plot of the movie

The plot focuses around Vivo, the titular kinkajou, who became friends with Andres, a local Havana musician, and spends his days performing music with him. In the clip, we see Vivo learn about Andres’ remorse at never expressing his affection for her old musical partner.

Andres was invited to Marta Sandoval’s farewell show in Miami, Florida by her former musical partner Marta Sandoval. Unfortunately, he died the night before he was set to leave.

As a result, Vivo is the only one who can travel to Miami and give his last message as well as the song he wrote for her that he has never been able to communicate. So, as seen in the video, Vivo has embarked on a journey to her farewell concert in Miami, Florida, where she will perform the love ballad Andrés penned for her with the help of lively tween Gabi.
