Cliff Harris became a member of the Pro Football Hall Of Fame on August 8th, 2021. Cliff said some words at his enshrinement and paid thanks to his wife, parents, coaches and many more people special to him.
Making it into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame is no mean feat. At 72 years old, Cliff was recognised as a legend in the game. He was joined by Edgerrin James and many more big names in American football.
Cliff Harris’ NFL career
Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on November 12th, 1948, Cliff Harris was born to parents who instilled passion and mental strength in him, as per his speech on August 8th 2021.
Cliff began playing American football at school and was offered a scholarship to play at Ouachita Baptist University.
He’s best known for playing for the Dallas Cowboys from 1970 until 1979.

Who is Cliff Harris’ wife, Karen?
Cliff’s wife is Karen Harris. She could be seen in the audience at his NFL Hall Of Fame enshrinement.
Cliff said: “There are so many people in my life that I need to thank. First, my beautiful wife Karen who’s here tonight, who made my life complete. I only wish she could’ve been joined by my wonderful dedicated parents“.

Cliff and Karen have six children together. According to Sports Casting, they also have seven grandchildren.
Cliff, Karen and their three sons and three daughters live in Texas as per Sports Casting.
One of their sons, Matt Harris, looked to be following in his father’s footsteps. The Dallas News reported in 2010 that Matt Harris earned a contract with Cleveland, however, he’s now opted for a career in real estate.
As per Cliff’s Facebook page, his son runs a real estate business, Harris and Homes, with his wife, Katie Tull Harris.
Matt’s real estate profile reads: “When not working you can find Matt anywhere outdoors with his wife, pups, kitten, chicken and favorite guitar. As a former Razorback, his soul is most at home in the rivers and hills of the Ozark Mountains.“
