Andy Murray says wife Kim has a ‘potty mouth’ in cheeky birthday message

Scots tennis ace Andy Murray has taken to Instagram to wish his ‘potty mouth wife’ Kim a happy birthday.

Kim Sears and Andy tied the knot back in 2015 and have three children together.

And as Kim celebrated her 34th birthday, her husband took to social media to send her a cheeky message.

Alongside a snap of Kim donning a ‘Parental Advisory – Explicit Content’ jumper, he wrote: “She managed to top the mum/wife rankings for another year despite her potty mouth Happy birthday.”

Kim adopted the nickname Potty Mouth back in 2015, as she watched on as her man played Tomas Berdych in the Australian Open semi-final.

Mrs Murray was caught on camera apparently cursing at the Czech player as tension mounted during the first set.

Fans were quick to remind Andy of his recent antics after the player lost his wedding ring in California.

One said: “Happy birthday. I’m sure her “potty mouth” came into play when you “mislaid “ your wedding ring!”

Another added: “She loves you again after finding the ring!”

While one commented: “Happy Birthday Mrs Murray. I’m glad you have forgiven your husband after he lost the wedding ring.”

And one wrote: “Happy birthday Kim!!! Hope you have the most amazing day! Her potty mouth is one of the most memorable moments lol!!!”

Andy with wife Kim

Andy had earlier revealed that he was in the bad books with wife Kim after he lost his wedding ring in the bizarre hotel theft.

The 34-year-old was in California when he told his followers that he had attempted to air out his worn tennis shoes to stop them from smelling and placed them under his car all night.

After retiring to his hotel room, the following day Andy went back to retrieve his shoes and realised that they had been stolen at some point in the night.

It wasn’t until his physio asked where his wedding ring was that he realised it was also missing – and remembered that it was tied to the shoe laces because he can’t wear it while he plays.

He said: “As I was preparing for my practise, my physio said to me ‘where’s your wedding ring’ and I was like ‘oh no’,”

Andy continued: “I basically tie my wedding ring to my tennis shoes because I can’t play with it on, so yeah, my wedding ring has been stolen as well.

“Needless to say I am in the bad books at home, so I want to try and find it.

“If anyone can share this, or may have any clue to where they might be it would be very helpful so I can try to get it back and get to the bottom of this.”

The following day, the trainers were returned to Andy and he was once again back in the good books with his wife back in Scotland.
