A daughter has told her dad that she coughed up €70 (£60) to get someone to put air in her car tyres for her at a garage.
Kerri Mitchell decided to tell her dad of her rather pricey purchase of air through WhatsApp, which resulted in a series of hilarious voice notes that were posted onto TikTok under her username @kerrimitchellxo.
In true brutally honest style, the dad responded to his daughter and asked: “Are you f****** simple?”
However, Kerri was not in fact ‘simple’ but was rather a massive prankster.
She captioned the video: “Hahahahahhahahahaha screaming enjoy.”
And to no surprise, it has been very much enjoyed indeed.
So much so, the video has now gone viral having racked up 1.5 million views and 163,000 likes.
To start off the prank, Kerri first told her father: “I paid €70 to get air in me tyres, is that good?”
Immediately becoming victim to the prank, Kerri’s dad said: “€70 to get air in your tyres? There’s something wrong with you?”
“How did you pay 70 f****** euro to get air in your tyres? You don’t pay for that, you f****** head case.”
The barrage of hilarious insults from her bewildered dad continued: “You sound like you’ve air in your bleedin’ head. Hope you’re not on the joints or you’ll be getting slapped the next time I see you.”
Kerri took to the comment section to confirm that she was not actually ‘on the joints’ like her father thought.
Obviously shocked by his daughter’s seemingly ‘simple’ purchase, her dad added: “€70, are you winding me up? €70 to get someone to put air in your tyres, there’s seriously something wrong with you. “
“Seriously lacking a few f****** air cells in your brain.”
Keeping her cool, Kerri maintained the prank and said: “Yeah, because one of the back tyres went flat so I was like ‘ok grand, I’ll go to the garage and get it done.”
“Then the fella behind the counter was saying there’s premium air… so like I paid him €70 to do it.”
Fed up by his daughter’s apparent lack of car knowledge, Kerri’s dad replied: “Premium air? Are you f****** simple? Premium air, what f**** sort. Listen, there’s only one kind of air, that’s the f****** air that you breathe.”
“Air is air, it pumps up a tyre. I hope you didn’t give someone 70 quid. In fact, actually, what garage did you go to to get the air in?”
Tickled by the funny exchange, people took to the comments to share their thoughts on the hilarious prank.
One person commented: “That’s inflation for ya.”
Another user added: “You hear the rage build which made this even better when you said premium air I fell around the place.”
Whilst a third person said: “Best thing I’ve seen this week.”
Someone else noted: “Funniest thing I have seen all day.”
Meanwhile, a fifth user stated: “ I need more dad content.”
