Lori Loughlin is back in the spotlight after serving time in prison. When Hope Calls, a spinoff of the Hallmark Channel series When Calls the Heart, will see the actress reprise her popular character Abigail Stanton. The spinoff will return for a second season on GAC Family, a new network. According to Deadline, Loughlin will star in the two-part Season 2 premiere “When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas,” which will air on Saturday, December 18. Loughlin hasn’t appeared on television since Season 6 of When Calls the Heart, when she was fired in 2019 for her role in the college admissions scandal. Following reports that she was granted permission by a federal judge to travel to Canada for a week in late September-early October for “a filming production project,” the Full House alum has been rumored to return to the series. She is currently on probation after serving two months in prison. ”
