Jon Favreau has taken the web series industry by storm after he curated The Mandalorian for Disney+. By the looks of it, the second season of the hit series on Disney+ Network is all set to arrive on the streaming platform in the fall of 2020, as reported earlier.
Nevertheless, at the Disney Earning Call, Bob Iger, the CEO of Walt Disney Company said that the second season of The Mandalorian will release on the streaming service in October 2020. Later, the CEO of Disney also revealed that there will a third season of Mandalorian alongside a few spin-offs as well. At the time of writing, the subscribers of the streaming service are revealed to be 28.6 million.
After the long and the prolong stories of Boba Fett and Jango came to an end, there was another bounty hunter or a warrior who came into prominence in the universe of Star Wars. The series, on the other hand, takes place after the fall of the universe’s Empire and right before a complete emergence of the Star Wars’ First Order.
Pedro Pascal portrays the role of the lone gunfighter Mandalorian who reaches out to Cara Duen played by Gina Carano. Duen is a famous Rebel Shock Trooper who has been having a tough time when it comes to re-integrate into the society once again.
The Disney+ web series features Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Emily Swallow, Werner Herzog, Omid Abtahi, and Nick Nolte. Jon Favreau is not only the showrunner of the show rather he serves as the executive producer of The Mandalorian as well. In addition to this, The Mandalorian features Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni as well as Colin Wilson as executive producers. Moreover, Karen Gilchrist would also serve as the co-executive producer of the series.
