Radfords throw lavish first birthday party for grandchild Ophelia with donut wall

Britain’s biggest family, the Radfords, have celebrated another milestone birthday this week as granddaughter Ophelia turned one.

Sue Radford, 46, and husband Noel, 50, are well known around the UK for have a whopping 22 children in their massive brood.

The couple live in a 10-bedroom ex care home in Morecambe, Lancashire, with 19 of their kids.

This includes Millie, 20, who gave birth to her first baby, Ophelia, last year who is Sue and Noel’s seventh grandchild.

And, in typical Radford style the family celebrated Ophelia’s first birthday by pulling out all the stops.

Posting on Instagram the family said: “Big Happy 1st Birthday Ophelia.

“Millie, you made through the first year in one piece and you are absolutely smashing motherhood. We are so incredibly proud of you.

“Ophelia is very lucky to have you as her Mummy.”

A huge cake and balloon arch were on show

They added: “Ophelia has had such a lovely day.

“I’ve really got to say a massive thank you to @beckysbakesandbouquets1 for Ophelia’s amazing cake it’s so beautiful.

“Also massive thank you to everyone that’s wished Ophelia a happy birthday.”

They uploaded snaps of the big day which showed a large light up number one standing on the floor, a personalised chair saying “Ophelia” on the back and masses of presents wrapped in pink wrapping paper.

Another photo showed baby Ophelia in a gorgeous peach dress in front of a stylish donut wall.

And, she looked to be tucking into the sweet treats.

Pink balloons filled the living room and a giant pink teddy bear was also spotted.

On the wall a sign said “Ophelia Turns One” next to a huge white, pink, silver and rose gold balloon arch.

And, there was a massive cake decorated in pink and white with a unicorn and rainbow decoration on top.

The lavish day looked to cost a pretty penny – which would fit in with the Radford’s spending in 2021.
