The traffic light system has been phased out of England’s Covid travel restrictions as part of a major overhaul.

Under the new rules, the amber and green lists have been combined to create a single list of low-risk destinations, and testing requirements have been relaxed. Several countries have been removed from the red list as a result of the changes, including much-anticipated reprieves for Turkey and Pakistan.

Here’s how the new Covid travel test rules will work, as well as the complete list of countries on each list.

Which countries are on the red list now? Despite widespread speculation that various Caribbean islands were in jeopardy, no amber countries were added to the red list as a result of the announcement.
