Katie Arter posted her hack to TikTok with the caption: ‘Using a hair donut to make my curls last for days while I sleep.’

To make her curls look perfect for THREE days, Katie’s simple technique involves sleeping with her hair wrapped around a hair doughnut. 

She said: “I started doing heatless curls to preserve my hairstyle from the day before.

“This is day three of the Dyson curls.

“I’m going to brush it out, put a little bit of oil and then show you.

“Here’s what we’re working with after sleeping with my hair with this method. 

“This is day three of my curls.”

Katie shows the simple technique of using the hair doughnut to preserve the curls and it couldn’t be simpler. 

She explained: “I get my hair doughnut, pull my hair through and literally just wrap my hair in it.

“I’m just pulling it through and wrapping it round.”


It takes seconds to do and her curls look as good as new up to three days later. 

Clearly her hack has impressed numerous people as it has racked up over 122,000 views.

The video has 4,542 likes, 32 comments and 13 shares.

Many were not only jealous of Katie’s hair but shocked at how good the technique actually works.
